In pursuit of its mission, the African Council of Optometry is guided by six core objectives that shape every initiative, partnership, and policy we champion.
The greatest purpose of AFCO is to unite all member Councils under AFCO to advocate and advance the development of eye and vision care in the Continent and across the World.
These objectives form the foundation of our work — ensuring that optometry across Africa continues to grow in stature, reach, and impact.
